Whew.
Got a few irons in the fire at the moment… lots of stuff going on. Was not expecting this update to take as long as it did for as little as I put out, but here we are. I’m sticking with my plan of making these the last 10 of the ‘set’, taking a little siesta to plan the next hundred out, and then picking it back up with a plan of attack that’ll actually update on time. I’m terrible with that stuff. Need to get better.
Anyway, I’m working on two other comic things at the moment. One, is, as previously announced on here, a second Mini for Facebrooks with a brand new story, characters, etc. Look below for deets. Second, I’m working on an actual “indie” comic book called Pengora’s Box. It’s indie because I’m the only guy doing it and 30 people know about it, maybe. But it’s much different than Facebrooks in every conceivable way (penguins fighting humans in a war does not = autobiography) so it’s a nice change of pace from all this stuff.
How does this factor you? Well, both of these things will be sold on the new shop that’s popping up this summer on the site. Neither of these things will be posted online in their entirety, so, you’re gonna have to buy to read and succeed. The facebrooks will forever be free, though, except when it’s not, like in book or mini form. But the actual strip on here will always be free to read. That’s a guarantee. Not like I’m doing anyone any favors with that, though. Just thought I’d mention it.
In the meantime, I’ll be posting the final ten strips, starting with this one, in no particular scheduling order over the next few days before I head on my summer trip, just so I can close out this beast for a while before I open the wound back up. Keep your eyes peeled.
